Hi there, I'm having the same issue but unfortunately the fix only works for a short time and it fails the homing again, seems like the gantry loses it alignment after the laser head travels some distance along the y axis, I tried to tighten the v wheels screws of the y axis rails but that doesn't solve the issue. Can you please confirm if your issue is permanently fixed? Cheers

for some reason im not able to run my laser past 50% power hence unable to cut. whenever i do, the laser just flashes the blue light real bright and just freezes in the current position. wont go back to origin or anything. any ideas that could bet me on my way?

Hey John, I'm first.. Ha Ha Ha, all kidding aside, I've had my Alpha for almost a week and let me tell you, I am THRILLED and AMAZED with the value and performance of this laser. I'm going through the "normal" learning curve and getting up to speed with the latest LightBurn Rev. 1.5.05 and have one burning - get it - question please. Do the servo motors digital encoders still report the laser head position even if the head is moved manually - by hand to the cutting/burning starting point when the machine is powered on? Your experienced reply will be welcome and appreciated by this newbie. P.S. My first "real" project was burning a laser crosshair mount that should be considered standard equipment and with calibrating the offset in LB, it is easy peasy setting your start point. I installed this but found that there was a steady water leak from both sides of the fittings. To be specific, even with teflon tape, both sides of the fittings are drip, drip, dripping on me. Any ideas?
